Our first two weeks at home have flown by. I often forget what day of the week it is with the round-the-clock feedings, chasing Evan and trying to find some quiet time to enjoy Tyler's newborn moments. Life is busy, but things just feel a little easier this time around. Probably because we know what to expect and aren't used to getting much sleep anyway!
Dear Baby Tyler,
You are a sweet and happy little baby. I love cuddling with you and staring at you during the day. I work hard to keep you awake so that you start to know the difference between day & night. You're doing better every day (thankfully!). You make the sweetest noises/coo's while you sleep and I wonder what you are dreaming of.
Your big brother Evan is very anxious for you to be bigger to play with him. He always asks to hold you, wants to pick you up, or asks what you're doing/saying. He likes to help with changing your diaper, bringing you blankets or telling me what he thinks you need.
You eat A LOT and you're growing every day! At your 2nd doctor appointment you were 9 lbs, 13 oz, and grew about an inch and a half since you were born. I'm sure you'll be taller than me by the time you're in elementary school! Eating & growing also means you go through LOTS of diapers. I know I didn't order this many diapers with Evan (thanks to Amazon.com for diaper delivery at a great price!). Today I tried to change you on the ottoman in the family room. Your Daddy warned me not to and I assured him that I would change you fast enough that you wouldn't have time to have an accident on the furniture. You proved me wrong. Your diaper wasn't off for half a second when you peed all over the furniture, yourself and me, and also pooped all over. I couldn't help but laugh as your Daddy ran out to get furniture cleaner. OOPS! :)
Happy 2 week birthday Baby T!
XO,
Mommy

Tyler's first play date with his favorite cousin Madeyln!
Fun play time with Madelyn. It's easy when they aren't mobile!
Love this face. After he eats I just sit and stare at how perfect he is!
Evan says "Momma, get my baby out!" He calls Tyler his baby.
First outing to a family party. Evan wouldn't get off this four-wheeler the whole party.
Brothers :)

Evan wanted Tyler to play motorcycles with him. See the toy next to Tyler? That's his motorcycle Evan said he could play with.
Sweet baby boy
