My Sweet Baby Niece's 1st Birthday!

This post is way overdue, but I had to share pictures from Madelyn's 1st birthday party!  The best reason for living back in MI is to be at events like this.  It was a great party and I look forward to celebrating more birthday's with my sweet Godchild!

Outfit #1 - cute tutu!

Nice job Madelyn!

Of course Evan snagged some of the cake :)

Madelyn has the best wardrobe.  How cute are those leggings?!

Happy Birthday Madelyn!

Happy Mother's Day!

So grateful for my boys and being able to celebrate Mother's Day with them.  We had a perfect day with a zoo trip and relaxing in the backyard while the boys played.

Grandma, Grandpa Dan, Aunt Kristie, Uncle E & Madelyn joined us for our zoo adventure

Always on-the-go!

In parenthood everyone always says "time flies by so fast."  It does.  It truly does.  The days are long, the years are short.  The weekdays and weekends are the same; there are no breaks.  Raising Evan & Tyler is the most amazing gift ever, but wow, does it kick our butts!  We looked at pictures of us from just a few years ago, and yikes, have we aged!  I guess that's what sleepless nights for 3.5 years will do to a person.  But I wouldn't trade all the sleep in the world or less wrinkles or more hair for anything.  When I hear Evan & Tyler laughing together, it makes it all worth it.

We love to be on-the-go, whether it's to the park, a Mom's Club activity, or even doing a project at home.  I don't know what I would do without my iPhone to capture all these moments!  And the Internet for helping me document them for free.  :)

LegoFest!!  A fun day for Evan, Daddy & Grandma Colleen.

This is what my family room looks like sometimes.

It's Jake!

Tyler w& I had our own LegoFest at home :)  He loves to pull Lego's off the table when we stack them on it.

Oh boy....

Evan drew a picture of me.  *Heart Melting!*

An afternoon at the farm, feeding animals, riding horses, and having fun with friends!

Evan's first pony ride

Selfies!  Evan, someday you may ask what a "selfie" is.  I can't even imagine the technology or cameras that you'll have when you're older.

Tyler's favorite activity.  Evan wanted to help.  He just thought it was fun that he wouldn't get in trouble for tearing apart or playing in the cupboard.

Succes = empty cupboard

Working on his letters

Evan's girlfriend is older (5 years old) and drives Range Rover.  I love how Evan is acting all cool with his arm on the door and other arm behind her.  He hopped into the car and just took off with her!  Flash forward to teenage years!

 Music time

 Enjoying the warm weather!

Another sunny day.  Our neighbor saw us outside and invited us over to swim.  The boys had a blast AND both napped well (yippee for Mommy!).

I posted before about Evan's creativity and how impressed I am with what he builds out of blocks and Lego's.  He built this airplane by himself!

 Sunny weather is over  :(

Lucy loves Tyler.  Especially because Tyler plays ball AND drops food on the floor.

Family "make your own pizza" night!

The Easter Bunny returns....

Easter morning 2014 with our sweet boys

Easter last year included a trip to the E.R. for Erik's finger and a fear of the Easter bunny by Evan.  This year was the total opposite of last Easter....it was a WONDERFUL Easter best described with some fun pictures below.

Craft time at home.  Evan drew & decorated an Easter bunny.  So creative!

Easter Egg Hunt #1 (between school, mom's club and city activities, Evan had 3 egg hunts!)

Now I know I said Evan didn't have a fear of the Bunny this year, but now I do!  How creepy is this bunny!?

Our sweet baby bunny!  A story behind this picture...I was cleaning up in the kitchen and asked Evan to play with Tyler.  I heard him giggle in the family room and say "This will be funny" as he proceeded to put these bunny ears on Tyler's head.  Ha!

Easter morning.  Evan had to show Tyler how to open the eggs (but we know it was so that he could make sure Tyler didn't get anything better than he did!).

Happy 1st Easter Mr. Snuggle-saurus!

Easter weekend fun with the family

Playing with Grandma Denise

Grandpa Dan & Mr. T

A fun wagon ride with our favorite cousin, Miss Madelyn!

Oh Grandma, you're so silly!

Easter brunch with the Anderson's - the Easter bunny at Grandma & Grandpa Anderson's house brought kites for the little AND big kids.  "Aunt" Stacy was a pro at putting the kites together (thank goodness because none of us could figure it out!).

Tyler & Daddy enjoying the great weather we had on Easter

Flying kites at the park!  So fun!  Run, Grandma, RUN!

Success!  Evan liked to run and let the string drag behind him while Grandma made sure it stayed up in the air.

Your turn, Uncle David!

Pretty cool!  There were 3 kites total.  Although Tyler couldn't fly the kite, he did laugh when he saw them up in the air.  To him they probably looked like airplanes!
