November...where has the year gone!?

November just FLEW by!  A lot to be thankful for with our energetic, silly boys.  Took our first road trip in the minvan and had our first snow.  Evan LOVES snow....when the sun came out he stood by the window and said "please don't melt the snow!"  He also told me we had to take down the Christmas tree if there was snow, ha!

Silly Tyler!  He will flip the Lego table over and pretend it's a boat and make noises.

"Mom, I'm just more cozy in my underwear."  Doing crafts while watching a Christmas show.

Tyler likes splashing in the tub while Mommy gets ready for the day.

Crusin' with his cousin Madelyn!

A playdate with our friend Gwen

"Hey Gwen, check this out."

Already taking the ladies for a motorcycle ride!

Celebrating Grandpa Dan's birthday.  Madelyn and Tyler were amused by the flames!

"It's so funny that I just threw spaghetti all over the floor!  And on your head (mom) while you were cleaning it up!"

Not quite sure what they were doing but it was silly...and fast....

My super cute snow bunny!  He was SOOOO excited to be outside!

Tyler looks like he's wearing oven mitts...he was JUST like the kid in A Christmas Story; when he fell over he sort of just rolled around.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Fun action shot!

By Spring his feet will reach the peddles!

Tyler loved the snow as long as he didn't have to touch it (too cold for sweet baby skin!)

When Tyler wants a snack he communicates with me now.  He'll go to the snack cupboard, open it, point and start dancing around with excitement.  I tell him to go get his cup (which he will, no matter where it is in the house, he finds it!) and to sit down.  He says "sit down" and holds his cup out for me to fill.  Then he carries it over to Lucy's bed and eats.  One for Tyler, one for Lucy.  It's adorable.

Snack time again

The boys love climbing on the couch and being silly.  Tyler just wants to keep up with his big brother!  PS: this is evidence of the last time we saw Green Bear. Yes, Green Bear is missing...I am making "missing Bear" flyers to hand out at school.

Are you comfy, Tyler?

Proud to be Star of the Week at school.  He got to decorate a bulletin board with pictures of himself and family, a little story about himself, and take a toy and book to share with the class.

Tyler's new thing is climbing and standing on the couch.  And climbing on anything he can find in general!

Our first family minivan road trip!  Did I mention I love my minivan?  Lots of storage and a DVD player!

Turkey Day in Hastings with the Anderson's.  Tyler enjoying some time with Uncle David & Aunt Stacy.

Fun times at the kids table with cousin Caleb & Aunt Chris

Tyler got to sit at the adults table!  He ate more than me!

Evan & Caleb played really well together.  They loved the balloon animals (as you can see they were moving so fast I could barely get a pic!).

Snuggle time with Grandpa

Check out the cool marble maze Evan & Grandma built!

After a fun-filled Turkey Day we headed to Grand Rapids to visit the Fox Family (Aunt Kathy, Uncle Jim, Kaitlyn, Courtney & Megan.  And Great Grandma Ellis who was visiting).  When we got in the car, Evan kept saying "I'm not tired Mom."  HA!

Tyler and his best friend Megan with Great Grandma Ellis

2nd Cousins!  Just missing Madelyn & Adam.

Back at the home front, some more pictures of the crazy boys.  This is what usually happens now when Tyler wakes up from nap.  Evan likes to jump in his crib and play with him.  Moving so fast I could barely snap a pic!  And yes, that's a juice box, UPSIDE DOWN, in Tyler's hands...thanks Evan....

Yes, that's a paper airplane tucked into Evan's arm while he sleeps.

The creative wheel in his brain never stops working! He took bubble wrap from a package, paper from my printer, tape and scissors and made a "super tall tower."  He's so creative!

When Mommy is working Evan is very resourceful when he wants something....

As you can see, it was a busy, fun-filled, healthy, happy and BLESSED November for our little family!  The best days of our lives! Even with constant sleep deprivation.  ;)

Tyler Matthew's Baptism

An Irish Blessing
For Your Baptism Day
May God grant you always
A sunbeam to warm you
A moonbeam to charm you
A sheltering angel so nothing can harm you
Laughter to cheer you
Faithful friends near you
And whenever you pray
Heaven to hear you.

Dear Tyler,

Today you were baptized at St. Patrick's Church with the love and support of our family - Grandma & Grandpa Anderson, Grandma & Grandpa Ellis, Great Grandpa Bergmooser, Uncle David & Aunt Stacy, Aunt Kristie & Uncle Eric, and your Godparents, Aunt Katie & Uncle Danny.  Evan and Madelyn joined us for the celebration too!

It was hard to keep you still or smiling (a short nap and ear infection are to blame!).  You are loved SOOOO very much Tyler!

"Sit down" (or "si dow" as you say)

You were much larger than most babies!

Parents and Godparents.  (Was I standing on a step below everyone or am I seriously that short?!)

Aunt Katie & Uncle Danny, your very special Godparents!  You would not hold still for a picture!

Blessed to have your Grandparents with us who love you very much!

And your Great Grandpa Bergmooser

Love this picture of you.  You just wanted to run all around the church stage (and the oil in your hair!)
